    Smile Suzuki GT 750

Since I became bikeless a few months ago Ive been contemplating returning to my younger days with a Suzi Waterbottle. Trouble is I've no idea what sort of price they go for these days, can anybody help out to give me an idea. (of course theres always the one on Bikepoint,a bargain at $75000)

Yeah a J model, I had a GT550J ex cop bike that survived a fair thrashing and being stuffed into the odd ditch

Had a 3-1 exhaust which everyones says don't work on two strokes but it sure sounded nice enough

Ask me about old Hondas and we could have a great discussion. My knowledge of others is very limited

I had a drum brake GT750 for 18 mths, but it wasn't mine, the starter never worked, but they are easy to kick anyway,it had a 3 into 1 with a 3inch drainpipe and baffle. They had one of the widest crankshafts fitted to a bike, and you could really feel the gyro of the shaft when flicking through turns.I got a soft spot for the old water buffalo, but I really hate the 380 and 550,ugliest bikes ever made, they didn't sound as nice as the 750 either.

I've ridden the GT380, and thought it was OK, better than sme of the other bikes of the time.

Love the advertising blurb: "special linkage on the throttles" and "heavy duty hydraulic caliper brake", which looks like a single potter? And "ram air"! Wow!!
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....

    Question

How did the the two stroke Suzuki range compare to the Kwaka two strokes of the same era? Better I suspect!?

oh yes indeed. Kwaks were quick but very peaky & had frames which were closely related to wet spaghetti
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

Yeah, I heard they could only go in a straight line.
