Buy a better helmet, or at least one better suited for your riding style.

One of my helmets feels like its been caught by a skyhook as soon as I hit 100mph,massive strain on my head, Yet I have another that sits firm and comfortable at speeds well in excess of that figure.

I don't do much "tucking in", being a fat bastard with a penchant for naked bikes and sitting on a bike rather then lying on it.

I have tried to sit on a Daytona 955i (and it's smaller brother) after being invited to take them for a blast - and at 196cm and 115kg, it ain't happening. Any flexibility I had disappeared 20 years ago.
That's (partly) why I have a TDM850 - comfy as for those longer and shorter distances. Other folks experiences may vary, of course.
I've got the same problem, nothing bends anymore & by a bizarre quirk of fate ( spooky music ) sat on the very same model of bike & was contorted from the wrists back. Bit of a shame, might give yoga a try.

He might be right... some helmets are shit fits, some are head pullers, some are noisy, some fog up. Find a good shop that will let you take each one that fits for a long enough hoon to test those things if you can. Don't get that from buying off the internet!

I'm not that tall, but when I popped out of the bubble a little too soon when slowing down over the start finish light at Hampton downs the first time, the lift from the air going over my helmet added an extra 1/2" to my height.

What kind of speed would you be hitting on the start finish line?

On the old SV thou I was getting about 240k's indicated. Probably lifted my head at about 220k's the one time I wouldn't recommend it till you are slowed at least a little bit, but sitting up really helps slow you down fast - when you are used to it.

I am also over 6ft tall but find the Hayabusa shape excellent for wind deflection.

Possibly not so much of a sheep deflector though.....

See now that's value added. Staying relevant in the market place in the face of hordes of others who only have raw dollars to compete on, that's proactiveness that's to be applauded
