    Harley Davidson advice

I'm off to Brisbane later this month and have the opportunity to rent a Harley Davidson for the day, I've never ridden one and this seems an oportunity to pootle up the coast and enjoy the experience with my wife. The choices I have are:
    FXD Fat Bob,
    Super Glide custom
    FLHT Electra Glide.

The only prerequisits we have are that it has to be pillion friendly and fun to ride.

So, whats the best one to get?

    Any other advice is welcome...........

Edit...apologies for the "Harley" typo in the header...not a great start eh? (Ta to whoever fixed that bollocks up)

You want to poodle up the coast with your wife on the back? On that basis there is only one answer: Electra Glide.

I was in Brisbane a few weeks ago and did some window shopping at morganandwacker.com.au looking for what HD I would buy when I move to Brisbane. The tourers are very popular with HD owners and suit the roads and long distances. If you want your wife to enjoy the poodle I wouldn't consider the Fat Bob - but then what would a Busa rider know?
    Here for the ride.

Fat Bob for one day and short trip. Electra for longer missions, Super Glide for bling.

Just to clarify, I would expect to be travelling an easy 400 kms for a day trip at a leisurely pace, am I deluded?

You must know something about his wife's arse if she is to sit on this for a day trip up the coast.

The Glide would be the best (only) 2 up bike.

Her on the back won't like the rear seats on the others for long.
    Just another leather clad Tinkerbell.

It's my pick for the renter we're picking up from Salt Lake City in three weeks, it seems ideal for two-up, lots of miles and room for gear.

No mention of an Aquaglide. They are better in the wet.

They're both gonna be hot if it's this time of year, both have lots of desert but Salt Lake City is more on the (almost) direct route however Denver is the way I've been - and great scenery through the Rockies that way.

(Will be stopping at Las Vegas myself in about 6 weeks time)

Depends how much time you've got and how far you need to travel - it's a long way between chip shops over there!
