wheelies!...those that can do it generally don't talk about it.
those that are learning... want to talk about it ( cause it is exciting & they want to share the buzz with like minded people) & then there are those who can't do them & are more than happy to tell you all the reasons why you shouldn't do them, buy posting examples of others misfortunes
Anyway keep it up fella's or down if ya too chicken!
Fook Yeah!...Me Got DRZ400sm Now!
& still can't spell for shit!
You read a heap into this that isn't there.
Nobody has played fun police.
Nobody has said don't do it.
All they have said is " don't do it where someone else has to carry the can if you fuck up, especially where the consequences to them may far exceed the consequences to you"
I may not be as good as I once was, but I'm as good once as I always was.
Ohhhh really, ok, that makes sense.... where exactly is that again?????
By the way, I took the liberty to call OSH to speculate the outcome of a vehicular incident. There response was of little interest, they are not particular in investigating traffic incidents unless it involves industry oriented application, and or directly involved in the industry specified working environment.
Thus: they wouldn't be involved in my suggested cause pulling a wheelie, however police jurisdiction could be reviewed if the employer lodges an official complaint................. Blahhhhhh
I am freindly really, I only bite when provoked
I always thought that OSH stayed out of motorvehicle accidents , but as I understand it they are prosecuting the transport company for the wheel coming off the truck & killing the front passenger in a bus.
Believe nothing you are told as a casual opinion over the phone, it has about as much validity as opinions around here.
Bass about summed it up for any employer. I wonder how you would feel when someone does something that jeopardises your ability to earn an income or exposes you to a financial liability.
Of course it's only the boss , who gives a shit, he's got plenty.
Firstly, I'll ignore the sarcasm. It just belittles what has so far been your cogently argued point of view.
Secondly, I applaud a genuine attempt to establish what is fact and what is just opinion - that's all to rare around here..........................
..............however, I suspect that Trustme is correct, sadly.
For example, call IRD several times with the same question and see how many different answers you can get.
I may not be as good as I once was, but I'm as good once as I always was.
