    Classic bike magazines

    Good GOD!

I've aquired a LOT of them right back to the very first Classic Bike mags... some of which are possibly worth money... Probably should put the bloody lot on trademe...

Nice as they are - I'm having a clear out.... If anyone wants them let me know, must pick up and the best story gets em.. (please don't just turn around and sell them I'd rather give them to an impoverished classic biker or a good cause)

That's really nice of you Paul.
Over the years I have collected only particular Classic Bike and other magazines that feature what I have in my shed- saves a lot of room.
The other ones I read and sell on to someone else. Generally I get $5 each for them on TM...unless a few people want that particular issue. It helps offset the hard earned $$ I spend on them. Lately I just flip to the contents page and decide if it is worth it to me or not, this has cut down my amount of issues purchased from 12 to about 2. There is a lot of competition out there now to the humble Classic Bike mag, we have Classic Motorcycle Mechanics (which I like) and Old Bike Australasia, Classic Racer etc etc. Gone are the days of one magazine for old bike nutters eh?

Yeah - I should sell em but I need the space in a hurry....

I always used to think they would be worth keeping to refer back to but then the internet came along and...... I have a lot of 40's and 50's magazines but I'll hang on to those ;-)

I regularily get in trouble for the amount of motorcycle mags I have accumulated over the years and how much space they're taking up in the storage cupboards.
I'm sure one day I will find them "missing"......

How will you justify all those to your wife, Ratusratus?
