I am thinking about racing it this year, but by the time ya pay the $100 entry fee and accoadation and fuel and evey thing else it is bloody expensive. although it is a race you need to do at least once in ya life time.

Too close to the baby for me this year. Next year I might do it again. I have to say that start of that race is the biggest rush I've ever had on my bike. The pile up that follows however is the most annoying think that I've experienced on my bike.......

can you enter more than one class or is each class another $100 bucks??

I can enter for about 4 classes if I could do 4 laps??
Was thinking I could enter my class do the 2 laps and see if I could go on from there??

Would like to do it just once just to be able to say I did it??

prettu sure you can only enter one class, but if you keep going after your class has finished if the track is still open

Can't do it this year...... busy...... but will sure be doing it next year.
So rick if ya can wait that long we can hold hands!!!!

You only need two tools in life - WD-40 and Duct Tape.
If it doesn't move and should, use the WD-40.
If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.
And now a third thing a bloody big gun to shoot theives with!

So is the race actually 100k (ie Tawarewa 100) or a timed race you do as many laps as you can in??

And if I can do more than my class laps will my extra laps go towards the overall result??

How long was each lap and many laps did you and Cheese do last time Rupe??

it is 100 miles if you do 4 laps, so 25 miles a lap, (about 40km)

yes if you do more laps it will help your overall result

Yeah as Scott said, 100 mile for 4 laps. (160km). You refill at the end of every lap so not to worry.

I'll be there, entry sent and accommodation sorted too. They're limiting numbers to 300 this year so get in quick.
