The Southerly front hit Upper Hutt just as I was cleaning out the last of the gutters on the house at about 12:00. Then the rain and hail arrived.

We've just had an exceptionally dry warm autumn, and the first sign of seasonal weather the whiners come out.![]()

Phoenix get's hotter. Think the record high there is 113 Ferenhight (or however it's spelled) Dallas High averages about 105 - 111 every year. Humid heat too. Complain mostly about riding through a big swarm of nats. Or sitting baking in traffic while the cagers stare at us from thier airconditioned tin cans. (but then we laugh back when thier engines overheat)

In the JAFA land it's just miserable, cold [but not cold enough to remind you you're alive] soak-you-to-the-marrow-of-your-hapless-bones...

Stop whinging about the weather you miserable bunch of plebs. What are you poms or something ?
You don't know what bad weather is until you have to ride 150 miles home from work in horizontal rain in temperatures of minus gazzillion degrees Kelvin on roads packed with fuckwit cages. It gets so cold your neck scarf freezes. No shit.
Bloody poms have a lot to answer for, showing you all how to complain about the smallest things. I thought the Kiwi's were a happy go lucky sort. Big girls blouses the lot of ya.Can't play rugby for shit either.
It's lurrrrrvly here.

Not complaining. Simply remarking on the weather. Litte bit of cold and rain would never stop me from riding. Anything short of the monster storms from day after tomorrow woudn't stop me.Originally Posted by Biff

In my day we had to walk to school in bare feet through the snow.

Stupidity kills people.

Lazy youff. In my day we had to MAKE the snow before we left for school . And walk all the way there on our hands so as not to get our bare feet dirty, cos shoes hadn't been invented yet. Through the 10 foot deep snow drifts, that the big boys had made.Originally Posted by Lou Girardin
