Yes the 800 went through to about 94 or something, Phreaky Phils is an 800. Get rid of the abomination of a fairing and put a light on the front and it would look ok.

Considering it's condition I reckon it'd be worth well over $2K in parts value.
Did ya see it's listed as a cruiser?

Accurate advertsing eh?
I thought $2k was a reasonable limit as it will cost about $1k to get re-vinned, plated & registered and that leaves about $1 to 1.5k to play with. There is always risk with a damaged bike, there will always be something you don't see and you have no history of it's servicing.
What do you think it's worth on todays market in average condition?
Those wind jammer fairings are just so wrong on all levels![]()
That bike went for $2800.

That was likely an okay buy as long as you weren't focussed on putting it back to stock. I've replaced / am replacing all of that stuff. Looked like the bike had been cared for. Ddidn't agreed to the accessorising, but doesn't mean that someone hadn't put a lot of time & love into it.
I still think it was way too much (but I am a tight arse like that) given there are two 100PDs for sale for around $5k. I've repaired write offs before and there is usually a heap of hidden damage or not working stuff that you only find when you get it home.
I hope it's repaired and proves a good ride for the new owner but I don't think it was a good buy.
Yep if they part it it will make them money. A stock exhaust is something like $1800
