Spring must be in the air ! Even i dragged the bike out !
A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

    Bowls can wait !

Rode to work (8am Sunday) in 2 degrees. So cold the Speedo failed to notice movement.

Thick fog first 15km - and just cold the rest.

But a great ride home at 3:30pm Sunday evening... I gotta stop working and jealous of the rest whom got a good ride out of the weekend.

Ah Banditrider, those "the back roads through Takapau, Ormonville and Makotuku ".

I remember drinking after hours and under age in the pubs of Takapau, Ormonville and Makotuku 44 years ago.

    Glad you enjoyed the neighbourhood.

Was awesome. Went out through Clevedon, Kawakawa Bay, Kaiuau, Magatangi and run up 250kms.
Nice and warm, around 16 degrees. Didn't need my neck warmer and never got cold. Corners still damp and green in many places but lots of fun to be had. Very few bikes out suprisingly enough... at least out my way.
If the destination is more important than the journey you aint a biker.
