    97 GSXR 750. What's it worth?

Someone has offered their 97 gsxr 750 for my v6 commodore i have on trademe.

The bike has done 53000kms and has 'some mods'. This is all i know so far.

What would be a quick selling price for this bike? Im talking from in my garage to in my bank in less than 2 weeks.

And does anyone want a bike like this any more? Its a 13 year old bike thats going to cost just as much to rego as my 2007 thou.

Have looked on trademe for similiar bikes but theres no way to tell what the selling price is, just what people want for theirs.

Also feel free to PM me if you want a bike like this at a good price.

$3500-4k springs to mind, a touch more if it's immaculate?

Those were the exact figures that came to my mind for a 2 week sale.

have a good look first my friend, take into account everything that needs to be spent on it aswell.

when quoting vehicles in the industry it is always 'less' reconditioning.

so let's call it $4250 'less'.

    be hard on the 'less'.

Whilst the kms aren't a big problem, it's old enough, and has done enough miles, that neglect could have been hard on it. As with everything, make sure you inspect it closely. GSXRs are pretty rattly, but it should sound fine once you warm it up.
