It certainly did have a shell with some dots painted on it and I could see out of it. Your typing was a bit off Lou but I think I covered your questions. Anyone would think I was the salesman here.
Somehow I can't imagine they spent millions of quid developing the science, research and marketing development to sell these safety helmets worldwide but forgot about safety regulations. Oh, and I understand they already sell then in the nanny state of UK.
With or without dots I liked it and would probably get one next time I change lids, but not without trying one on the road first. The safety issue alone of seeing fully what's coming up behind you appeals, no blurred vision (apart from riding home from the pub) or trying to spot those annoying fuzzy red and blue lights some cars have that tailgate you.

They do ,they do! I mentioned it earlier. Go to their site and look under the mountain bikes/leisure/recreational cycles (it was something like that, but not under motorcycles) then scroll down and click on "What you see" similar view to what the wearer of the m/bike helmet gets.

Too true... let alone an XXXL... why do nearly all helmet manufacturers ('cept Arai and Bell) think riders have small heads?

If they read some of the posts on KB, they'd realise that bikers more often than not have big heads.

So far as their opinions of their own riding skills go, anyway...

    Safety Standard

Reply to my enquiry via the the Reevu website:

    "Hi Jim,

The helmet is available initially in Matt / Metallic Black and Silver.
It is certified to EN 22.05 for the European market. It does not have the DOT certification yet but will have this when the helmets go into the US as this is the requirement for the States. This should be later in the year due to the huge demand here in Europe

    Nicola

PS where did you try the helmet?"
If a man is alone in the woods and there isn't a woke Hollywood around to call him racist, is he still white?

hmm i wonder how you would deal with carlights behind you, specially full beam the light would be in your eyes no mater what you do, at at night this means you wouldnt see much out the front :spudwhat:

Im not sure but i recon it might be an issue worth investigating if you are interested in the helmet
