Is a biker's agro inversely related to their bike's capacity?

I seem to be seeing a relationship where the most impotently agressive posts on this website come from people that own bikes of 250cc or less.

Jeez, I think you might be on to something there. A sort of misdirected Freudian penis envy perhaps? There certainly seems to be a high proportion of 250 riders with serious chips on their shoulders

    Arrow Nope.

I think you have missed the bus there.
The more the aggro then the more shyte I give my bike. Makes no difference if I'm on a 50cc or a 1000cc. However I suspect that I'd kill the 50cc and the 1000cc would probably kill me...

Darwin's law. All start on 250 or less. The aggressive ones kill themselves, or Mummy realises they're about to and buys them a car. The sensible ones garduate to big bikes.

However, having said that. There does seem to be something about smaller bikes egging one on. When I take the Whale out, I seem to automatically ride very defensively and politely ("After you , Sir"). And law abidingly.

But out on Li'l Rat Bike, something primevil seems to be aroused and I am definately more assertive (won't say aggressive). It's sort of like the Beammer says "Such plebian displays are beneath my august dignity. Let the rabble go by. We, the Herrenvolk know who is master". Whereas Li'l Rat Bike it's "Wheee this is fun. Cummom cummon, betcha I can go through that next corner 20 kph faster, Cummon betcha betcha, cummon guv, gives us a chance then."

Don't know why. The effect of the higher revs maybe. Could be , because a two smoker ALWAYS seems to cry out to be ridden harder and faster than a 4 stroke.

    I vote penis envy.

I ride a Blackbird. My penis is now so large that I occasionally use it as a side stand for the bike.

Id agree with that ..when I ride thing such as BMw I am on old fart ..but put me on a race rep and suddenly I am rossis worst nightmare ...often thought about that I think it is the revs of the bike

Anyway The Missile is ready for tomorrow ...thats a 2 smoke ...and I hope for some big air ,,,,

Quite looking forward to it ,,,as I have the thing balanced quite well and the spring rates are close to what I need ..just a fiddling is what she needs before some serious spanking ....
oh happy days .....and all up its was very cheap ...( wife still here so thats a bonus,,,, )

Thank you, I now have a mental picture.........

Can't seem to get rid of it.

Wont be able to keep a straight face whenever I see a Blackbird.

And I know quite a few.

Funny all the small bike riders round here all seem to be going fast every where . So either they are in a hurry to get some place or they have just finished watching WSB or GP

Tis because young people generally ride the 250s and young people can get a lot more angry/pissed off over small things than our elders

Dunno about capacity and aggro. But I have found that my buoyancy is inversely proportional to the depth of the water I'm in...
