    Shorty levers

Anyone know a good brand/where to get some weeny levers (mainly clutch) for my yz125? Nothing super expensive, just something a bit smaller/lighter for my tiny girl hands. Hoping to get something by the weekend. Thanks!

I would say spectrum would be able to get to get them in fast enough. Cycletreads possibly might have some in stock.

shorter levers will require more pull as you will lose leverage

True true. But if I can get a better grip on the lever that'll help too, and they'll be less likely to snap when I go over sideways.

Spend money Bark Busters & normal size levers instead.

How many fingers do you use on your levers now? Have you put plumbers tape under the perch? It helps the whole lever to just move around the bars when you come off rather than them breaking. Obviously not 100% you won't break a lever but it does help heaps!

yamaha makes some good GYTR flex levers, you can adjust them back towards the bars if you have smaller hands.

about $60 each though, but much better quality than zeta

This would be my suggestion too, although I HAVE hand guards and wouldn't mind short levers (just because I prefer using two fingers and not having the rest of the lever collide with my other fingers).

I have the Zeta ones on both sides and love em,And paired with hand guards i find it damm near impossible to break a lever and i have had some good falls to the piont where the hand guards are bent againt the hand grip
Even on the old ones if you dont race serious and you wanna just go do the odd club day and smoke everyone on a big old 5hundy it great and if you get beaten you have a handful of excuses

I might put some guards on in the future, I have a really bad track record for them falling off and me loosing them in bogs etc. I've spent a lot of $ on barkbusters and nothing to show for it :[ Main point of this thread is that I'd like a smaller clutch lever I can grab a bit easier - No way I can just chuck on a yz85 one is there, it wouldn't fit right eh?

I had done that on my old bike, not yet on this one tho. Good reminder!
I probably could survive just fine keeping stock size levers on there, I just think smaller ones would make things easier is all. It would be cool if I could find something about the same size as my mtb levers...

John has the shorter ones on both his bikes - although the 250's ones are the smallest. he just got them from Spectrum. They were oem levers.

Why don't you try shifting the levers along your bars then you should have an adjustable stop on your pearch, wind this so the lever is closer to the grip to grab. Than adjust you clutch free play. You should be able to get it so that you don't have to stretch your hand to grab/use the lever, and by moving it you can make the pull easier by using the full leverage.... if that makes sense.
