Don't seem to fit the profile of a "Real biker"
So I should ride a dirt bike that is not road legal on busy public roads?

I'm personally not so self-conscious that I would need the assertion of labelling myself to any particular breed of motorcycling appellation, or to go so far as to make up my own, just to satisfy my individuality and "badboy" status.

In summary, OP is a fag.

Bikie, per name sake is of european origin, a more cultured name with a similar stereo type but more depictive of racers than Biker Gang origin.
If you called a biker a bikie, one would have received a fist full of knuckles to the chin, cheek or face more than likely. Any line of association was vigorously rebuked.
Doesn't worry me personally, but just stating the obvious really lol....... If one wants to be a biker, just conform, or vicer versa.
Way back when ... "Bikie" was the media term in Godzone for the patched club members ... the rest of us prefered the term "Biker" as it seemed more about ridig bikes ... but who gives a shit ...

Bikie is a term used in NZ and OZ to describe motorcycle-riding gang members.
Biker is an American term to describe someone who rides a motorcycle.
    Simple.
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?
