    Looks Cool

    I saw a similar race bike, only it was a Matchless, and it was all original. It was in the back of a truck heading to a collector up north of Auckland somewhere. Also with it was some very interesting machines.... including: BSA thunderbird late 60's triple in green, what looked like a distinctive X75 Hurricane, and a lovely lovely lovely Triumph Speed Twin.
    If only I knew where they were goin I'd grab some snaps.

    That's a pretty fair price - you couldn't find the running gear alone for that $ now...

    In some ways I hope it does go overseas as it would then be used...
    Our "classic" and post classic classes here don't encourage the use of bikes like this so the very few in NZ just sit on display - or under a woolshed.
