Crasher has a severe woody !!!

...anyway, back to the CB92....love to see it in action. Perhaps the new owner will race it and not Museum it.

I think the word you're looking for is insignificant, not severe!

Yes, now back to the CB92 - yes it would be cool to see that getting some track time. Seeing these old girls used as they're meant to be is far more stimulating than a dusty old museum display.

Always loved the look of the '59 CB92 streetbike with leading-link forks etc.
But they are so rare and hideously expensive, not an option to restore one.

Seeing the pic of the CB92 reminded me - many years back a customer brought in a 92 he'd found under a house somewhere north of Cairns
Got it sorted and WOF'd - biggest problem was that after customs had steam cleaned it there was red dust/shit everywhere. even had to wash out the pressed steel frame....
Points off the shelf at Whiting's - ran very well indeed.

The one on trademe should by rights be eligible for the Register but they don't want to know historic Japanese so where you gonna run it ?
Against the 600's in post classic ? - doubt it....
Believe it or not a CB92 ran at Cust in '63.

Its a replica made out of some very expensive bits and the price is probably about right if not cheap. Classic hondas are HUGE $$ and in demand for parade laps at classic meetings. People would pay big for somthing semi real...

That hoonda certainly is a rare find..

And as was mentioned, it is a shame the NZCMRR doesn't encourage the participation of jap classics in all of their meetings.. The TT and February classics festival are the big events and the jap entrants are by invite only.. Poos.

I'd love to see one of these suckers out there.

The Z1RTC is very rear, you might have the real thing there and If so would love a look but its more likely to be a z1000 cos there are a few that came to NZ, I know of no Z1's myself, dosnt mean there aint any here ith imports and all.

The CB gizmo, is rusty and un restored, I to cant see the money in it being a replica, I had a replica MT125 (GP bike pre RS) sold it for 900, sure not quite the same thing but 12k? sure is cool tho make a sweet bucket racer.
    cheers DD
