    How many motorcyclists in NZ?

    Hi
I'm keen to find out an estimate of how many motoryclists there are in the country and if possible, regsitered and actively riding? Also, any geographical data would be very useful too! Can anyone take an informed guess, or does anyone know of a website where this info might be found? I'm considering embarking on a MC related business venture and any info would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks a lot
    BK

Last semi reliable estimate I saw indicatred about 500,000 licenced riders in NZ.
