all women ride 250's anyway.

Then I could get a Kb Tshirt, move to Timaru and become a full time crossdressing faggot

Nearly three years ago I created the Heels On Wheels column in Motorcycle Trader because I found that there was nothing representing females in New Zealand's motorcycle media.
I have the opportunity to test ride any of the press bikes that our magazine receives and have ridden a wide variety of bikes giving my review in some of the test articles (including dirt bikes) in order to encourage more ladies and cover off any key aspects that would or would not appeal to the female rider.
Eventually the industry will have more females involved in media and the female rider mentioned in articles, but until the readership surveys show that a larger number of females are reading motorcycle magazines within New Zealand then it will take some time.

I think that statistics would probably show that there are alot more ladies reading these magazines than they believe. I used to buy them and always read them when I can, and I know a number of other women who always buy them too. Mostly we buy them for us and our man to read.
Good on you for being pro-active too![]()

referring to the original post here.. i really can't see why it matters. they could say it would suit a bigger man, woman, or monkey, the comment would still carry the same meaning. as far as i know ive never met a "woman that rides motorcycles" that really cared either
One of the best replys I have EVER read on this forum!
Equality starts with attitudes like this, and i hope the other girls ..who seem to go out of there way to segragate themselves from the rest of the biker community (Girls only rides/Training/Groups/Forums...etc) read this and truly understand...YOUR NOT SPECIAL! you just ride like the rest of us! and reviews of bikes are just that....a bike review...about a machine that ANY HUMAN CAN RIDE if they so wish or desire.
Get over yourselves ladys and get into your passion...riding!...not seeking attention and self promotion for being a minority.
Rachprice obviously has....and good on her!
PS:Personnally I Don't give a flying rats arse what sex you are!...if ya know your shit...I will listen!

So true LMT, it doesn't bother me the lack of information directed specifically at women riders. I just read articles/ads etc. that interest me either way.
However, I dooooooo have to say that when I ride to work I wear makeup (hair looks like a rats nest but that's another matter) so I'd be quite happy having "just enough storage for my lippy" hahahahaha. Tend to keep the ever handy lip moisturiser in my jacket pocket though rahter than under my seat......
You are so right my friend!
How the hell can it be any different from a womans perspective. A bike is a bike isn't it and the riders that i know, hop on one leg at a time, the same as woman. Maybe the apparrel is different and i know i don't wear makeup, but from there on it's a free for all.
Trumpydom!
