What did the "insurance note" say?

If you have a witness who will back you up, front up to the driver and say you have a reliable witness to his actions. Give him the opportunity to come clean and do the right thing.
If they don't wish to be sensible, threaten to go to the police with your witness.

    See what happens.

I remember seeing that while playing Modern Warfare 2 - great game it is.

A bunch of angry skinheads knocking on the offenders door should sort them out.

He already had that, seems he failed the test. I liked the insurance suggestion best, they can be obstinate beyond reason.

Going to the Police might not achieve too much, they probably haven't got a section on standby waiting for a complaint about a cracked mirror.

At the very least, it could be considered 'leaving the scene of an accident', 'wilful damage' or something like that.

Please let's not jump to conclusion that this was a "he", could well have been a "she". Women and carparks are not a good mix!

This is what i would do.

Find out if it was a staff , student or parent who did it.

For a student - see if you can put a notice in the school assembly and majorly play up the damage and say something like "someone driving car rego xxxxx did $xxxxx amount of damage In a hit and run. The police are involved." then leave it for a week, the kid will (most probably) be shitting himself. - Then go to insurance / make a deal with the kid

Staff member or parent - talk to them first, then deal with insurance.
Then I could get a Kb Tshirt, move to Timaru and become a full time crossdressing faggot

Ahh, true. Unfortunately some people will try and get away with what they can.

And it would have to be a bunch. It's the rare exception when you find a skin who is willing to go one on one, they are a bunch of cowards who only have strength in numbers.

Now what's the best revenge? Castration, killing of the first born, ripping of eyes from sockets is a bit over the top but something is warranted!

Magnets can be taken off - what is needed is a stencil and a can of spraypaint.
