It includes everything required: Rotrex supercharger, brackets, pulleys of the right size, a new CF plenum for the airbox, uprated fuel pump, custom map for the PC, etc etc. Cost is US$5k, which given that it nearly doubles the horsepower yet still keeps the bike reliable, is a bargain, and cheaper'n trading up to a bigger/faster bike (like, say the VFR1200, f'rexample). It takes the VFR from ~105hp to ~185, on a fairly modest amount of boost, and the bike looks stock, as the supercharger and all its gubbins are hidden beneath the bodywork. Unless the rider gets on the throttle, it rides like a very well sorted VFR (courtesy of better fueling). But open the throttle, and it will loft the front wheel in every gear.
I've seriously considered buying a kit, but I reckon I'd be unable to insure the bike. That's a fairly substantial negative...
Jebus. I have always liked the 800 but just felt like it was laking in punch a little, not that it doesnt have punch, just it could have a bit more. I think such a kit would solve the problem and once you up graded the suspension would make an awsome piece of machinery
