    KTM Clutch

Well fellas i wonder if any of you guys have any ideas on why my nice smooth and easy to pull clutch on my EXC450 has all of a sudden gone all stiff and feels like a cable clutch now and even snaps back when you let it go......and to top it off when its pulled in it makes quite a rattle down where the plates are,for the record it hasn't been ridden for a couple of months......opinions appreciated,Cheers Steve

Your baskets "fingers" probably has notches in it and the plates are catching in it. If you've got the money, get a new basket, if not you can file out the grooves.

Hey i swapped it Barty...haha i've done all that bar checking the basket so i guess that'll be the next step.I have a bad feeling as i put the bike in gear(not running)pulled the clutch in and tried to roll it forward and she don't budge....gonna start her up in the drive tomorrow and see if everything works properly....
