Hi can we get breaky in inglewood? Saturday morn.
Life shouldnt end at the grave well presented but rather, slide in sideways totally worn out yelling "shit that was a great ride!"

Right, I'm organised, new rear tyre, bike serviced, gear packed. What length snorkel do you think I will need for the airbox?

I am not going to bring a snorkel, I shall just wait till each bog-hole is full of 640's then ride over the top

Just curious. I came over on the Kaitaki ( the big one) Does 35-40 kmh according to my GPS . The Kaitaki has proper motorcycle wheel chocks for the bikes and the tie downs seemed in ok condition but I used my own any way. Can't remember if I've been on the Aratere. Probably tho as I've been on 3 of the 4 Interislanders and one of the blue bridgeferries. I'm back to work tomorrow . Gonna be a long 2 days of work before leaving for the NBA on friday

Edit : Looks like they only have three ferries

so is there a planned time you are gathering at the Whanga pub?

is the plan to head in from the pub to the bridge and then north through Autohia Station?

I might just head up on Sat morning (depending on the usual life stuff that gets in the way)

I presume that there is no reasonably detailed route/itinerary anywhere?

On Sat we be heading towards Whanga, the dirt bikers splitting off and heading PAST the pub down the Whanga rd and meeting the rest of us at the Bridge to Somewhere, then we head south to Stratford

    New Boy

Hi I have just joined up and put name down for this ride after talking to Gary Gunter from Tauranga. Look forward to meeting you all.
I have good reliable bikes and will be travelling over with Gary to meet up at Raglan on Friday.
I have booked accomadation at the top 10 and will ring forrestal in the morning as It was a bit late tonight (Tuesday).
I won't be doing jet boat ride.

    Cheers - Ian Bowden
