    I see SH43 is closed until further notice due to slips.......I assume we have a plan B in case it's still closed on saturday.......

    Plan B is ride till we find a slip & if we cant ride over or around it we'll figure out plan C. I think the slips are in the Tangarakau Gorge so wont be a problem. Could be others though.

    It just SNOWED like a bastard in Kaponga and then turned into a beautiful sunny day, that weather is heading out the back(whanga) might jump on the bike and go for a look

    Well I wont lie to ya The Whanga RD is a shit fest your gunna need some good tyres in there. The tangarakau Gorge is open and is as smooth as a beautiful well maintained gravel rd, turned out to be a beautiful day after the snow buggered off

    Good news (well for me at least), my bike should be all go. The disappearing electricity (flat batteries) has been diagnosed as a stuffed voltage regulator thingy. But now for some reason the hand grips won't go!

    So it is all go for the weekend.

    I think were IN the eye of the storm. The wind has droped, it hasnt snowed since yesterday an its been over 24hrs since our last Tornado
