    6,000km in six months?

Have just taken the Guzzi in for a WOF and noted the milage on the Inspection Report. I have done 6265kms in the last 6 months. 4 months of those I would refer to as 'winter riding'. I work 3 days a week and use the bike to commute 26kms round trip. Thats 2028kms of riding to work which equates to 4237kms of 'leisure' riding. I am wondering if that sort of milage is average or am I a pussy and should get out more. What sort of fiqures do other riders put up over a six month winter period? (Would like to know where I fit in on the Biker Legend - Biker pussy scale)

    Feb 10 - Aug 10 = 12,500 (ish) kms.
Includes: one x 4k km NI trip (Feb)
    one x TT2000 (also Feb)
Couple of "Around the Blocks" (from Chch).
Otherwise, it's commuting and trips around Canterbury for family and other stuff (Saturday KB rides and so forth).

    About 2,700km a month (16,000 km 1/2 year, 32,000 km a year).

The sad part is about 1/2 of thse k's are filtering through rush hour traffic. If Puke' raceway was 1.5m wide I'd be in Group A for sure... but its not, and I'm slow as.

I was riding May 2006 to March 2010 and completed 77,000km - all recreational riding, with the math it was pretty accurate @ 10,000km for 6 months.

70k round trip to work every day (except lately...using the partners ...car! due to the Guzzi off the road waiting for carby parts from aussie), done just over 11,000k for the year....I miss using my baby sooo much!

Fuckin show off ! I did 10 k's tonight, No hurry though aye ?
A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

October 08 to October 09 (1 year) was about 33,000km... Even wof guy was surprised. This year so far has been much slower, only 11,000km (month and a bit to go).

Mind you, just the play bike. Work bike usually notches up 15,000km a year
