Not bad. I made two zorst shields for mine in the time I had it.
Bit gutless, shit brakes but very forgiving in the handling department (had to be), and all but unkillable.
Go soothingly on the grease mud, as there lurks the skid demon
When Honda stooped to making 2 strokes.I bet the old man had a few arguments with the marketing boys about this one.
It would be a shame to ride it...but you'd feel like you stepped back in time and were riding a new bike. The engine colour always looked wrong - but has he got it wrong enough.doesn't seem quite right....
Nice! Sad thing is I remember them...![]()
You don't get to be an old dog without learning a few tricks.

The thing about MT250s is that the airbox was too small and the air opening didn't let the carb suck enough air. If you wanted another 5hp all you had to do was take the lid off the airbox and it was instant power increase - it transformed the bike.
Interesting how people have different takes on it - I always found the brakes excellent. Progressive, lots of feel and able to haul that puppy up well whether it was on the road or off the road. I have many fond memories of that bike, especially with the long wheelbase allowing high speed power slides on the beach.
