I did some investigating when I bought my bike and got my cheapest option through Vero (they have all my insurance now), which is strange given the first post. I'm off to do training day with Karel later and will just get 'special' insurance for the day, don't really care what it costs for the day, it will be less than the cost of replacing my Beast.

Is the training course with karel at Ruapuna race track or a course she is running in an another location?
As I understand it Vero will not cover Prorider at Ruapuna, and that is my issue.
I'm out of my mind, but feel free to leave a message.

It seems I have misread your post Genie, after having another look, I see you are getting special insurance for the day, I assume not with Vero as they don't cover any training by Prorider on Ruapuna race track.

    Good luck.

Sort that website out with more than just the standard stuff or you will loose business.

My premiums with Kiwibiker have just gone up and that was with market value going down. Something to do with the cost of claims in the last 12 months (not my claims )

Just had the same with Vero (it went up $70), although they kept the market value the same as previous year when it should have gone down (it was new then, now it's a year old). I'll be ringing them to give them a new value, and will also ask why they don't automatically reduce value).

just got my quote emailed back from Kiwinike, am currently with Vero as well. Kiwibike have also quoted half (in fact a little less than half) of my latest Vero bill which had just gone up! It's hard to believe it can be done for so much less, but I think it's time I make the move too.

Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead
Do not walk ahead as I may not follow.
Do not walk beside me as the path is narrow
