and on that note... went looking at new bikes... ducati monster nice and low... but the new tank colours, mixed with the red.. well um erm kinda not right.... Triumph 675 ... VERY NICE.. (my choice)... $14k in AMPS 2009... Gladius, nice price, nice fit... now I need to win more than $22 on lotto.

the Gladious would be a perfect fit for you Kim. The 675 (while a spunky as mofo bike) may be a bit tall in the seat department?

It was too tall Maha, but in saying that they said it could be lowered! AND you didn't go in... whyever not?

Yeah lowering is an option.
Why I didn't go in?....normally when I enter a bike shop I come out with a bike, on this occassion, that was not going to happen.
If a salesman approaches me (which is rare thing in bike shops) then it has the potential to be very good outcome for all concerned. I dont wonder around a bikeshop tyre-kicking. I never use the saying '' I will think about it' cos everyone knows thats the end of it. I either want it or I dont, and right about now, I dont.

I went into AMPS a while back, no one would help me, so I went elsewhere to buy a bike.......

Down here the sun is still shining. Took myself over the hill to Havelock...was amazing.....I think I found the zone, but only briefly and it was gone again. Really love my bike and love living in the sunshine capital of NZ.

(Maybe I should say it pissed down otherwise you'll all move here)
