    Ktm lc4 620 adventure

Picked the Beast up the other day so thought I'd better take her for a bit of a shakedown and test her out. Well bugger me how tall do ya need to be to mount this thing(alot taller then me!!!) picnic tables are a good place to stop and dismount off the bike.
Filled her up in Stratford and headed north, couldn't feel any difference with the full fuel load handles well from up in the clouds were I am, the ground is along way down I'm eyeballin truck drivers as I pass them
Over Mt Messanger and turned right to Mt Damper etc, what a barrel of laughs and big grins on gravel roads it is, I never drifted into corners before(intentionally) and come out laughin, point and squirt then grin yeha.
Through the gorge was sweet it really liked the corners and open straights, shit its loud.
Stopped at the pub for a burger and sprite and he's bought himself a Tenere, wasn't happy he hasn't been able to ride it much.
Off home and filled back up 260km for 14.5L $25 of pretty hard riding, so I've only got 500KM range bugger that wont get me far
So all and all I'm pretty happy with her, apparently it is a well known bike to a few people. Would love to know what oil etc it has running in her vanes if somebody knows
    Cheers Neal

Good on ya Nooles, you'd be happy with the price ya paid for this one, I was watching it on TM as well.
Glad it puts a grin on yer face, likewise with mine, I just love riding it cos it does everything so damn well, although I might not have mine much longer, a 690 is beckoning in the near future.
Enjoy the summer, we'll see you out soon on a ride eh?

Real happy for ya mate. Watched the auction as well. You've got to be happy with that bike for that price . Looks to be very well set up.

Loads of info over in Advrider. Warewolf seems to contribute a lot to the index as well.

You get used to the height. I'm 6'1" & still get caught out every now & then. Warewolf tried to shorten it, but see he is now running more standard again.

    Cheers, Steve.

Probably no need. The previous-previous owner was a mate of mine who worked at AMPS for years. Read the threads on here & advrider started by k9strikex-whatsit for more history.

I tried 28mm lowering links on my bike, but they completely stuffed the rear suspension action, and after adjusting sag to suit they really didn't lower the bike very much. I hardly notice the extra height without them, but I sure notice the rear suspension performing properly!

    Enjoy!
    Cheers,
    Colin

I was at work as well and had a breakdown at the time so the Mrs was watching the auction(cant go online @ Fonterra), why she put another bid on at the last second of the auction I'll never know she reckons it was because I told her to.I told her to wait until the last second if she was bidding against someone and try and upset them every 2 mins but no one else bid so that was sweet.
I'm pretty happy, she is responding to amoural spray well

Would a "good" response be not finding it in your breakfast or not finding it on your seat and tyres?
