Picked the Beast up the other day so thought I'd better take her for a bit of a shakedown and test her out. Well bugger me how tall do ya need to be to mount this thing(alot taller then me!!!)picnic tables are a good place to stop and dismount off the bike.
Filled her up in Stratford and headed north, couldn't feel any difference with the full fuel load handles well from up in the clouds were I am, the ground is along way down I'm eyeballin truck drivers as I pass them
Over Mt Messanger and turned right to Mt Damper etc, what a barrel of laughs and big grins on gravel roads it is, I never drifted into corners before(intentionally) and come out laughin, point and squirt then grin yeha.
Through the gorge was sweet it really liked the corners and open straights, shit its loud.
Stopped at the pub for a burger and sprite and he's bought himself a Tenere, wasn't happy he hasn't been able to ride it much.
Off home and filled back up 260km for 14.5L $25 of pretty hard riding, so I've only got 500KM range bugger that wont get me far![]()
So all and all I'm pretty happy with her, apparently it is a well known bike to a few people. Would love to know what oil etc it has running in her vanes if somebody knows
Cheers Neal
