when at the grounds, i covered the bike with the tent fly. it stayed that way all weekend and seemed to be protected from the sand.

a square of wood to put under the kickstand is a must. they do have them, but on the off chance they run out. i kept mine and still use it when parking on uneven ground.

last time i went, the wind was really strong. was enough to blow the porta loos over. however, almost all the tents survived. only the BIG ones with flash verandahs suffered.
