    Blowing my own horn here

Ok this thread will probably end up having far too much inuendo but:

I got my full class 6 today.
Had to drive all the way to Timaru to get it (they didn't tell you THAT when you sign up for the CBTA course)

When I arrived the computer was down and they told me to come back tomorrow.

Anyways, all sorted now and I have the bit of paper.

By god it is cold at 100 (honest) km/h.

On an aside: Lots of friendly people about for the brass monkey. Lots of friendly blue and red lights too. Be careful out there.

Isn't it a great feeling when you get that full Class 6! Congratulations. Now you can go test riding...

Congratulations dude, what's the story with telling you to come back tomorrow? Did you lay the smack down and set them straight?

I pretty much said I wasn't leaving until it was done because I wouldn't be able to apply anywhere else on this day.

I also asked for a coffee while I waited. They must have heard about my legendary espresso drinking skills (eight shots a morning) because they looks a little shocked then and started fiddling with the computer a lot.

Finally after exhasting all the magazines they rang up another branch of LTSA and did all the paperwork and completed as much as they could over the phone, and the paperwork there.

Congrats, now I better get my arse into gear
To every man upon this earth
    Death cometh sooner or late
And how can a man die better
    Than facing fearful odds
For the ashes of his fathers
And the temples of his Gods
