Allen key under side cover. Remove screw with coin.
Coin slot made for U.K. coins. too narrow for N.Z.s
Finally remove...........No tool kit. Pommie ingenuity strikes again

I found a spider that had made himself a home on my bike. He was quite happy to travel with me all over the place and there were plenty of free meals for him. I called him Horace. Sadly Horace chose the wrong time to poke his head out of his hideyhole one day and got blasted with a jet of water from the hose. All I found of him was one leg.

On ATYB's Bandit, we replaced the rear seats screws with wingnuts. Kind of a stupid design that requires you to have tools to get to your toolbox DUH!

This is the bootspace of a Honda CB400!! huge!

Fortunately I was at home, so the spares were handy.

I read people have to unscrew stuff to get at their tool box. What?
With every Suzuki I've owned, it's just a matter of removing the seat either by unlocking it or a flick handle, and there they are held down by big black rubber band.

my m8 did that on his fxr, no spares... tricky maneuver with him bending the seat and me squashing my hand under, some wire and bout 30 min and we got the keys out...ohh and lots of cursing.... good times...

Air intake is on the sides of the Carbs.

That is one of the boot spaces. The tool kit normally goes behind that space. as in the space after the masking tape.

I found when investigating my bmw,tucked up the frametube a wire wheel lock just as well you need a key to lock it as i found the key that i thought would, did not, : could have been embarrassing... and of couse no tool kit, people must really like them may be it doubles the price of yr bike cos ive never seen one!.

Hmmm On the cruiser its hard to get to my toolkit...
I have a side cover to get off. But its damn difficult to get it off.
No tools needed thou to remove it.
But once you get it the side cover off, with lots of swearing at it..lol the toolkit is slid under the seat.
And they are getting a tad rusty.... somehow water is getting in there.

So I have only taken it off like 3 times in the 5 years I have owned the bike, I always forget which side cover to take off.... lol. I always have to go to the manuel to check which one side cover) to take off.

If I need tools when at home for the bike then I use all the ones I have in the back of the car or garage.

Cruisers are NOT designed well for tool kits, unless you put them in a backpack to carry.

I used to buy damaged bikes from auction.One bike -I forget now what it was had a plastic bag full of grass clippings in the rear storage compartment.
I tossed it onto my front lawn and then this funny spikey leaved grass started growing.

Many a moon ago I took a Gixxer 750 for a test ride, a private sale. I stopped to give the bike a once over and took the seat off to have a nose, opened up the tool bag and found a half smoked joint amongst the standard Suzuki supplied paraphernalia. I didn't buy the bike - but I did keep a souvenir....

That was only the second thing I've ever stolen in my life. The first thing being some pen refills when I was a kid. I got as far as the bus stop with my mother, burst into tears, told her everything, and she promptly took me back and made me pay for it.
