    New bike!

Picked up my 2007 Speed Triple 1050 yesterday!! Already fallen in love with her, so much torque and power, what an excellent choice I made. She already needs a clean due to a ride in the rain today but that will have to wait for the weekend. A few people have been guessing what I was buying .......ta daaa!

Here are come pics for your viewing pleasure.

Really need to get rid of the ugly rear fender. The twin after market exhausts sound amazing, I had to buy some earplugs today.Click image for larger version.

WooHoo - well done John - the worlds worst kept secret is unveiled. Florence is absolutely gorgeous
I found it noisy enough riding behind Prudence, I am staying well away from you now
So - when do we get to meet her in person

I can't make it out this Saturday as I'm busy working on my house but weather permitting I'll be out on Sunday. I thought you didn't know what I had bought?

    Tremendous effort!

Well done mate, I love my 07 speed triple too. I have had mine since March and have clocked over 10,000km so far.
Bike is everything in one, toy, blaster, racer, and instant wheelie god.... Livin the dream.
I have modified my aftermarket cans to get the absolute best out of the tone and performance. She sings like an opera singer on max power.
I added a ventura rack system, and a Stebel Magnum Horn which is handy for clearing a path.

    Enjoy your beast.

Bloody good taste you have there John and it looks great!

Now where was it imported from, cause it doesn't look like an NZ model?

Thanks Carla I have always been terrible at keeping secrets. I wanted to ride mysteriously up to a meeting point for one of our rides and reveal myself like I was the stig, but I only lasted one day in keeping it a secret!

It's so much fin riding with you I hope we can get out on Sunday with this bloody weather.

I'm jealous...I meet one of these delightful bikes on sunday....very very nice.

Well done. Won't say enjoy because that's a redundant comment.

    Very odd?

Shorter exhaust header and heat shield suggest foreign model.
