Interesting cop experience

So what he still got pulled over for no reason and thats the whole issue... ticket or not.

1980 I was driving back from the hospital (Auckland) one arvo to the nth shore when i decieded to stop for a pick me up (son in hospital at a month old, burns) any way at 3:30am was pulled over & asked for my licence as I was along way from home car redgestered to mr ...... Stillwater west coast & got done for dic :slap: & over the last 30 years have been pulled over a number of times & most of these are just checks wether in the cadge or on the bike & other times chipping in for the xmas fund
build a bridge man they just doing their job & if the bridge thingy don't work throw ay self off it

Bastards!!! There is a quota you know. And revenue to collect. What was he thinking....

I have to agree i don't mind losing ten minutes or so now and then, to know that our police are doing their job. we don't pay our taxes just for the fun of it do we?

I've been stopped for a breath test 3 or 4 times in the last couple months. it doesn't bother me at all, and i don't call it harassment either.

actually who cares, lets call it harassment, i would rather the police "harass" people than sit in their smoko room while people are out getting drunk and causing accidents, stealing bikes, etc

Good on him for doing his job and being a gentlman. Hard to see this kind of people these days ( im talking in general, not only cops)

Oh thats right, turning around and looking back from a bike means that its a stolen bike....seriously is it what you meant?

Also its the sheepish attitude like yours ...cops being allowed to do what ever they want as long as they say they were "catching criminals" that got us where we are now...
e.g. police becoming this unhelpful arrogant nuisance instead of something you could trust and rely on...

me thinks you right there :slap: in la-la as I was riding home this morning next thing in black muffty com'n towards me puts on his pretty lights does U turn & i'm thinking wt... & I add to the xmas fund that will teach me for head being some where else, my speed had crept up to 114, after a bit of a chat about bikes etc... he says enjoy the rest of ya ride if ya can & have a nice day
