I did a few stoppies, but I have to say it's not something I really seek to do to much, but the skill level to perform is very much a devotion.
I give homage to those who stoppie well, its impressive.

In regard to Katman, yes people have been injured stuffing up doing wheelies, some in dumb places, and inappropriate ego behaviour and intoxication.
Wheelies are an art form one needs to be skilled at. It's not a game, its something one needs to want to learn and do properly to minimse risk of incident, damage or harm.
There is danger in anything, from crossing the road, to bending over to pick up a bag of cement. One must calculate the risk, and ascertain whether they want to perform the task they are intending.
I don't live with regret, only the objective of looking forward and enjoying life. I don't take un nec risk I don't have to, however I do what I do do well, and thats what makes me happy.

I can stoppie about 10m, which I consider not too bad for one arm. I reckon I could do them further, but I'm waiting for a larger set of balls to arrive.

It's only a bike, and if it was written off, wooptie, its worth perhaps 10k to replace which is not a hell of a lot at anyrate.

And that is precisely the attitude that is causing the number of motorcycle accidents that we are represented by.

If people saw their bikes as something more than just a 'thing' that is easily replaced, perhaps they'd make more of an effort to keep it (and themselves) in one piece.

going downhill is a good start!..easier to get the stoppie going whlie using the downhill momentum...just make sure the brake & tyres are up to temp
