So my dad is about to trade in his 2007 Speed triple for a Night rod special How do I stop him from making this mistake and convince him that what he realy realy realy wants is a Ducati Streetfighter S?

I certainly dont mean to be arrogant I would call it more selfish as dad has let me ride his speed triple many times and I would love to get my hands on a Street fighter usual story though poor law student can't afford a street fighter myself and not for many yeas to come while I pay off my student loan so the only way I can see that happening is if dad gets one.
I'm told everyone should own a harley at some point in their riding career, if he hasn't yet then now is as good a time as any.
Saw a bunch of em going through sh16 yesterday, quite a sight (seemed like 100's, prob 40 - 50 odd realistically). All looked like they were enjoying themselves - obviously they picked the right bike.
Ciao Marco
Toys are the rewards for hard work, as is being able to pick and choose which ones you have. Be grateful that you're allowed to even sit on them... my father never let me even touch any of his toys.
You will find that once you start working your student loan isn't the big deal it seems now... You'll still be able to afford a bike, mortgage, and keep on living.
I'd like the wife to come for the occasional ride with me, so a cruiser of some sort is becoming more and more appealing with time.
