    I got one too

...mounted it to the crash bars of the BMW. Good enough at slow speeds, but under hard acceleration and at 160 km/h the image was shocking. This is probably because of the vibrations and wind. If I could place it somewhere else with ease I think I would have better luck. I might go and have another look now and see what I can do short of drilling holes on things,

Probably just as well - would you really want video evidence of you speeding?

Sorry to bump this, but thought I would complete the picture by uploading some footage of the cheap as camera. Very impressive for under $30...

Thats bloody good quality for a dirt cheap mini cam. Thats impressive.

I just bought on for $16.01 and $4 postage. Hope to get it by saturday and take it for a test.

Have you thought about making a clip to clip it to the top of your windscreen so it hangs down just behind the top of the windscreen? And then perhaps a bit of blu-tack on the front of it to hold it steady up against the windscreen? If that makes any sense to you?

Im going to start looking for clips etc and see if i can do something like that.

I am ordering a few more cameras to mount here and their, but because they are so small light and inexpensive you can attach them with blue tac

Im just a tad worried about the 100kph winds (lucky we arent allowed to do 200kph or they would fly away).

Maybe ill just use blue tac to get the right angle and then put a couple of strips of masking tape over it too just to try and elimante vibrations etc.

Farking bugger ive got an orange tint windscreen. Cant think of anywhere else good to mount these little buggers. So ill just be having orange videos until i mount it to my helmet somewhere that wont damage my helmet

For a more permanent solution I am going to ask the wife nicely to make some Velcro attachments. For the less windy spots maybe just glue a strip to the camera and something more secure onto the bike without damaging anything.

Perhaps for the more windy spots have a valcro strap to go over the top of the camera to keep it safe.

This guy also came up with a very good option which should eliminate wind noise and allow you to talk into the video and do heavy breathing...

hmmm could just slip it into the helmet between the cheek pad and the shell of the helmet. Bit of velcro to hold it there. Could be a bit fiddly though to turn it on and off.
