Here I come Isle of Man moto TT10!

I have just received confirmation on my accomodation and transfers to the Isle of Man!! 4 days 3 nights of racing and bike porn!!! Really stoked that I am actually doing this..... The suspension on my bike is going to take the back burner for a while though unless someone has a cheap cartride kit for a 07/08 zx6r I might as well treat myself to 1 day in the VIP section if I feel like I have been a good boy
Before the racing I will be in sweeden and try and get to the ohlins factory too... maybe I could buy a pen or a fridge magnet

Has anyone got any inside info of the best pozzies to view, and things to do?..
I have checked out the website and probably be looking for a good camera to take too. There is heaps to see and hope to make the most of my experience so any info would be great.
Hireing bikes for the day? hehehe

Few more details about my trip that are sorted.

Flying in from Dublin on the sat. morning. Then checking into the Hilton/casino on the parade which I beleive is very close to party central. Check out the happenings and find a beer and a veiwing spot before the superbikes start racing. I hope to get round most of the track throughout my stay and maybe get a rental on an afternoon to pootle round on with the miss after the days racing. woohooo

I have been sorting a flight out in the evening on the tuesday night after the 600s but I wont hold my breath. I dont know how long it will take me to get from the race to the airport so is not to miss the flight or miss out on the action.

Hmmm, I wonder if I can get my shit together to ride over to IOM TT this year. I hope so. Mann, my bum's gonna be sore after the ride there and back. I just gotta look into my holidays and see if a week off is possible

Hello there, drop us a line when you get over and we'll hook up for a beer. The T.T. should be good entertainment wise this year. The prom is where all the fun is of a night time, if thats near where you're staying? Simulators, big screen T.V. 's, beer tent, candy floss making machine and carny folk with big hands that smell of cabbages. Great fun, you'll have the craic sure enough.

Maybe you should PM Shaun he's almost a native. Sam at Celtic Leathers is a native.

Me, I'd watch from some of the pubs around the course - of course.

Hey Steeley, if you arrive on Sat morn., your best bet will to walk up to the top (or bottom) of Bray Hill I reckon. You won't have much time to get anywhere else. They'll both be packed but for good reason. You'll probably be best talking to people when you're there, the resricted areas change each year. The best veiwing more often than not, is to get to a place before the roads close and take a hike to a spot where there aren't many people. There are literaly hundreds, so no point in suggesting any.

When I last checked no one on the Island was doing bike hire. Getting around will be the biggest problem. Check the buses, they go around the course before roads close each day, coming back when they open.

One thing I can say with absolute certainty is, you're gonna' have a ball!!!

    Enjoy, MK
Do us all a favour, by bringing yourself up to speed, before pulling onto the motorway.
