Information needed: Did the MR27 registration extention work for you?

My brother laid a complaint with the Commerce Commission against NZTA regarding the fact they started adding the new ACC levy to registrations around two weeks before the levies were legally scheduled to begin.
He has received the expected from CC and from Nick Smith's office.

He wants to take this further and needs evidence to support him in this.
What he would like is proof that between May and June the MR 27 registration extensions of up to 15 months from the date of application were being billed in there entirety at the existing pre ACC levy increase rate.

If anyone can supply this information in the form of a scanned receipt or other document it would be very much appreciated.

    PM me if necessary

    Yes

Yes I did, I got 15 months at the old rate, however my rego expired and was renewed about 6 weeks before the introduction of the new rate. When I went to get it, there was confusion from the Postshop , saying no can do, but the VTNZ ppl went yup, sure.I do recall at the time exactly 1 month before the change, people were posting on here saying that they weren't able to get the old rate for some reason or other( something to do with dates and implementation on the LTSA computer system?). Anyway, I don't retain bits of paper unfortunately. Hope the anecdotal support helps : )

If you are willing to sign an affidavit to that affect, with the details of you registration, then NZTA system should show payment details.
