Still no word on the fate of Wellingtons burgers, but latest report in has our intrepid idjit in Taumarunui, making his way back to home base!

Wonder if I should ring the dealer and book him in for a service Monday now...

First time I met GIJoe was at a party in Whangaparaoa, he arrived after taking a detour from Auckland to Kaitaia and then to the party, just because he could.

Heres a pic of that first night, Justin put tape on his head with his name on it so we knew who he was.

Seems he's a rider through and through....just because he can. Awesome attitude.

There's a grubby biker with an even grubbier bike on my doorstep!

That's such crap about the rain washing bikes by the way...

I think he might even be tired. I've told him I'm popping over to Napier on a there and back this afternoon. He said enjoy. No hint of wanting to join in!

Yeah yeah, sure sure, blah blah!

I will update ... but it appears no rest for the wicked yet!

I had just finished washing some of the mud encrusted on the Preddy (whose name is Cyndi or Cindi or Syndi ... not quite sure ... she'll let me know in due course). I proceed to start sorting out my gear. Muck, mud, grit and the whole nine yards .... out with the scrubbing brush when ...

I get a text from my friend Greentea to help her practise on her VTR250 (right, done that) ... whilst I am doing that, zeocen rings up to ask me to help him put his new bafflerectomised cans on his Viffer800 ... so of course, I agree (still no sign of sleep)

And to top it all off ... it appears I have been shanghaied for a blind date this evening! I even had to ring and arrange a restaurant booking and all!

Well, if things go swimmingly well - I probably won't get much sleep later on tonight?

... fear not, my account of what I consider my most epic (in my mind anyway) pootle evar will be forthcoming.

(now where is the bloody address of that japanese restaurant :slap
