    hogs that never loose it?

people i have to ask this-
i've seen loads of dudes on road/race & tourer type bikes nearly loose it or loose it... but i NEVER see any big cruiser doing anything but staying on. Don't you guys ever fall off... i just gotta know cause i keep gettin pased by totally in-command cruiser types that look perfectly stable on the road... someone must have an "i slid out my new harley story..."

definately confusing.... most cruisers (with the exception of the rocket three, virago (1100cc), Vrod and a couple others) are mainly all noise and no go... bit like my RG150... I looked up the specs, my RG is quicker than most small bore harleys...

quicker on the 1/4 mile, dont know about quicker to blow up... ill call them even RG is definately quicker to depreciate... but then at a brand new price of 3 grand... and i can sell mine for 1500-2000......

Not hassling Cruisers at all... im keen as to have a go, and the 250 cruiser i rode was heaps of fun... scrapped the pegs too easy, it was slow it handled badly, but it was just fun to ride.... hard to explain...

What 1/4 mile time? (MIne is high 13 seconds but it will do 190km with two up and 30kg of gear on board on a flat road - faster slightly down-hill, just ask R1Aaaron), my depreciation is about .001 percent per annum!!
Not knocking your bike shag, different strokes for different folks eh?

BTW my bike is a bit like the 250 cruiser you mentioned - and it is the best handling H-D from the factory
    Cheers

Low 14 seconds.. have done 180kmh on a slight downhill with a pillion (pillion only weighed 60 odd kg's)

    Not expecting and bike knocking

Just stating that most cruiser riders generally do just that, cruise... When i rode a cruiser i just cruised for the majority of the time, hence why you dont see so many go sliding...

On a Poker run I was pretty soon on the scene on Skyhigh road when a Springer HD went over the bank - it was upside down in a tree with the pillion underneath, the rider was up on the road with just gravel rash. The pillion was OK,but if it wasn't for the tree he wouldn't of been. The near new bike was a write off and had to be pulled out with a Hiab.I was talking to the Duke rider who was following the Springer and he said he was only doing about 40kph,but just ran out of clearance.

Yea that's right!! Respect the Virago!!! lol

Nah we wreck too, just not as often cause most of us can control our bikes at thier top speed. Mine has a top of about 150 or so. Could probably go faster but I don't want to push it to hard.
