About 6.5l/100km on the VFR for mixed riding.
1st gen GSXR 750
gets ~ 7L/100km mixed riding or 14km/L
purely around town i think 13km/L . Not sure for 100% open road, but I'd like to think I could do around 300k to a tank with gentle throttle use (19L) = 15km/L![]()
DL650 4.7l/100k single or 2 up.
FXDXT 6.5l/100k - thirsty sod

My usual riding (not totally crazy but with a bit of hooning here and there and some acceleration applied in corners) I get around 43mpg in the old money (some 15km/l)
On Sunday last I went down SH3. Sedately. Top gear and keeping just under the legal limit pretty much all of the time. I got just under 50mpg (some 17.8 km/l).
So if you want economy, control your right wrist.
