    yz80 puddle= stop.

hey hoping someone can help me out here, so i rode through a masive puddle on my lil yz and then it cut out, i hav emptyd the carb and cleaned the plugs there was a little bit of mud in the magneto thing cover but did not appear to be on the actual magnet part, so i sprayd crc on it though.

problem is it will start and run for a few seconds then cuts out and wont start again until the plug is cleand. im guessing water is somewhere. any ideas on how to fix this easly?

We've had a kx125 die going through a massive puddle before - jst changed the plug straight away & it went again.
Unsure if changing the plug would help you though as you've said it does go then dies... so really i'm not a huge help

There might be water in your gas, could try draining it and putting some fresh stuff in, see if that helps? Happened with my old RM once. Oh, chuck in a new plug too, couldn't hurt? They are cheap.

sounds like it's not the electrics, usually makes it easier to sort! as spiked punch says could be the fuel, though I'd check the airbox first, sometimes the drain at the bottom get clogged up, or you filter could be too wet...
