    Best bike to build into a bobber?

    im thinking rebel 450??
    any other ideas?

    needs to be a twin, cant bring myself to ride a harley so perhaps not. i like the idea of a trumpy tho....

    I second the Yamaha XS650 twin,
    massive amounts of parts availabile, new and used,
    good strong mtr that looks and sounds good,
    lots of them already done so that you can get ideas on what to do.

    I'm doing a shovel bobber now followed by a triumph bobber and then a 51pan I think I have it covered, what about a w650 kawasaki even has a kickstart I had one but sold it so I could buy the pan and the man has made it into a cafe racer,here's a couple of pic's of the shovel.
