It's 30 years to be classed as a "Classic".
FYI in case anyone is mildy interested, these are the classes but not sure how they relate to rego....I assume anything over 30 years is the same price
Veretan up to 1919
Vintage 1920-1930
Pre War 1931-1944
Post War 1945 onwards
Classic applies anything 30 years old or over

for vintage rego its a 40 year rolling date, next one is Jan 1 for 1971 models, I think its about $ 130.00 ish,
Also if you join the VCC insurance, is only about $130 a year ( probably limited in KM's to 5000.???)
I see ealy 70's bikes gaining in popularity due to the high cost of rego, I pay full whack on two bikes, and would no longer concider adding another at over $500.00 a year plus insurance.
