Bike is ready, new tent after the last one expired at the cold kiwi, cooker, leave pass. Now how do I keep the beer cold?

Hoi!!!
You can't do that - you have offered and are scheduled to provide some of the entertainment
Right. Good question.
I plan to be leaving Shell Westgate at 9.00 a.m. on Saturday. Crisis is plotting a few diversions which will get us to Dargaville around lunchtime. From there the plan is to locate and set-up camp, which then leaves us with unladen bikes to explore the beach, the dunes and the peninsula generally for the rest of the afternoon.
Since we are camping, the weather is of particular interest for this one. I have to say that Metvuw looks a bit indifferent at this stage - not severe enough to cancel but not ideal either. However, we all know how accurate the forecasts aren't, this far out.
If the forecast for the weekend turns to total crap, I will post a cancellation about 0600 on Friday. However, Friday night will go ahead regardless.
Sunday is a bit loose at this stage, but wil involve a circuitous route home.
I may not be as good as I once was, but I'm as good once as I always was.
Is the plan to get to the camp site via Pouto?

If not, then I'd be interested in heading home that way.

I thought that the braver amongst up might tackle the sand cliff below the lighthouse.
If we had time, I've never been down to any of the bays on the eastern side of the peninsula.
