Well...Today was one of those really good days, sat my full license at 01:45, got given my piece of paper at 02:30 bought my R6 at about 04:00 lol. Man what a rush taking that out for a spin was, I also test rode a CBR600RR to get a feel for a less aggressive positioned bike but there was no changing after riding that R6, it just gave me so much grin factor I didn't want anything else.

Got a pretty decent deal from Red Baron, with free 6 month warrenty, free leather racing pants which I can zip up to a jacket at a later date and no on road for WOF and REG, happy as!

Sorry for poor pic, will take some better ones when it's out on the road. Sadly don't pick it up till Monday though...

Very nice bike. I was eye goggling one exactly like yours when i had just bought the 2000 zx6r i owned.

Quick trick to change your bike and look that little bit nicer. Take those pillion pegs off and put them somewhere safe you'll remember. That'll unclutter the rear just a little bit more and really enhance the lines of the bike.

Shit didn't know you could do your test so early in the morning! And a bike shop opening that early is unheard of! Ok i'll leave now

    Wow congratulations.

I'm in the same boat. I haven't had a bike on the road in over four years. I've been riding offroad though (any of that in the test?). Had my restricted for about six years. I plan on borrowing a friends 150cc scoot for a week then doing my full.

The majority of you are saying it was easier than your restricted. My restricted consisted of me riding five kilometers in a straight line while the instructor tucked into a sandwich.

Can't wait to get back onto a motard!

Hey cheers, yea I just put the cowling back on and will be getting rid of the pegs, should look nice like that. I don't plan on carrying passengers anytime soon so no point having them ah.

Thanks, yea the full test was very straight forward, just a ride around the exact same roads I did my restricted on no motorway or 100km/h just 80km/h open road. The only difference between restricted and full is you do a u-turn and at two intersection you are told to pull over and resight the hazards at the intersection you drove through, eg cars left, cars on-coming, ped to my right and you behind me..

    Good luck.
