    Wanted - Yamaha YDS2 250 Sports 1963

My old man rode one of these back in the day, and Im trying to source one for him to bring back some memories of his youth! (what did they ride like - good or bad? ) Does anyone have one they want to sell, or know of anyone else wanting to part with one. Will pay good $ for one in good condition. Appreciate any info. Cheers D.

Good luck in finding one,...restorable or not.
They are rare, esp the "2" model. However, upon saying that, I'd love one myself
I believe these were still premix, the "3" being the first of the Autolube models.

My old man had a YDS3 and an YR5 (350). Love to get one of these each.

Are there many 2's in NZ?
There are a (very) few DS3's around - great bikes.
    How about a DS5E

Bugger, why is it when you want to do something nice for someone that the bike is apparently as rare as cow nuts!

Thanks for the weblink Nude, very informative.

If anyone has any leads or possible sale, please let me know.
    Cheers D.
