Don't feel too bad - there is a very fine line between being able to save it, once they go past the point of no return you're stuffed.

unless you've found magical oggy knobs, they wouldn't stop all the damage you willingly inflict on every bike in your possession

MotovationUSA also makes some very nice gear, for some brands, its a much better alternative... $$$ wise

I have Oggy knobs for Cindi, my Preddy. She loves them she does, of course, like all girls - any bling is re rigeur!

But these things do happen, it's not as if we intentionally wish to drop our bikes!

I dropped my bike stationery once, I was trying to tell my son to park his bike next to us all, and over she went - all I could do was laugh but I don't have oggy knobs - and I was lucky. not so lucky when the Gixxer dropped in my back yard though

Hence, they're still on my wish list.........

If you have a speed triple - check out a guy called Milq on thespeedtriple.com. His sliders were NZ$104 landed. Aluminium shaft (better than viagra) plus replaceable delrin bobbin that isn't open at the end (keeping dirt and stuff out). I'll post some pictures up later today...

Happens to all of us. Better if in private (I happened to drop the SV for the first and only time at the Cold Kiwi ). My motosliders (specific to the SV) saved it (but then again it was only on snow).
