I think you've got high octane in the system as well as salt water, so we'll see ya when you're ready.

But meanwhile, like my cousin Billy-Bob, hang eleven bro!

PS. Who is going to provide riding mentoring to Paul and I now??

Dude, I was planning on following you. I want to develop the same system as you had for testing tyre preassure. As I had obviously stuffed mine up. So busy cleaning the bike forgot to check the tyre preassure. I checked them on Monday found both front and rear down 10psi
Dave as I said before its been great riding with you over the summer. Im sure you will enjoy getting back into surfing. I have many a fond memory myself of Waipu Cove, Piha , Kariotahi, and Ocean Beach. But I have to many hobbies already. Remember those large shadows in the waves are only dolphins.
Im sure we will catch up, I owe you a beer for the lessons.

    Paul

ah yes, an accurate ass-ometer is a very useful tool to have.

Reminds me of Black Hawk Down and Eric Bana's Delta sergeant character:
Wound up Ranger's captain: "Sarn't, don't you know you're meant to safety your weapon in the mess hall?"
Eric [mock clicking his trigger finger in the air]: "This is MY safety cap'n!"
    Too cool.
    Soz, thread diversion alert again!

And yeh, I too should pick up some beers for you Dave
Tha Jandal: Adding another dimension to "rubber side down"

Jandal [jan-duhl] noun: a mythical entity presiding over bikers
Jandal [jan-duhl] verb: "to jandal" is to involuntarily separate from one's boik.
Jandalled [jan-duhlled] past tense - usage: "bro, I've just gone and jandalled it"

All the very best Dave - in some ways I know where you are at - its just I don't have the kid thing weighing on my mind. After summer I too thought it was time to take up other things but after 3 months away I relaise I am not ready to give up my selfish pastime & my understanding partner has realised it too.

I met you once by chance and you took off from me like a robbers dog!! Despite only the one chance meet I knew instantly you were one of the good guys.

Enjoy the surf & the special times with your family.
