    Cool

All the very best in surfing...

You never know thou, that one day in the future... a bike will call your name out.. and then you will be back... maybe when the kids are all grown up.
Maybe then you might get the kids into bikes as well.

Do pop into the KB site from time to time... your wisdom about bikes will still be needed by us all.

Spend that quality time with your young family as they do grow up real fast.
Take care mate and keep on smiling.

Good luck with everything Dave. I've just started surfing this year (yet to get my own board and suit) and already know the pull it can have.

Don't let the fact you're going to be bikeless stop you from hanging around on here, hasn't stopped me or wkid1 from sticking around.

Once a biker always a biker.

Sounds like you've got new adventures to look foward to. Never write off getting a new one. When those youngin's are licence age they might decide to turn to the two wheel side, in which can "family rides" could be the perfect excuse to get a new one.

Do what you enjoy and enjoy what you do.

    Take care.

You seem to have enjoyed biking and now you are moving on to something you hope to enjoy even more.

So instead of saying "the end is nigh", I say here's to a new beginning

    Lemme get this straight...

... you're giving up biking in favour of shark-fucking?!?!?

Hey, Whatever is right for you, do it. Thanks for letting us know so the ultra-paranoid ones won't be saying "Where's he gone? Is it something I said?"

    All the best.

shark fucking??? hmmm never heard surfing refered to as that before...
wonder how many other proper surfers there are on here (not just the ones who surf in summer but go through winter too) what sort of boards have you got, good luck with pipe, have you been to jaws or teahupoo yet? a place i wouldn't mind having a look at, at some stage is tonga, i've seen some wicked shots of the lineups there, but yeah guess i'm stuck surfing the dunnas winter perfection until i finish uni, can't wait for this bout of exams to be over then i'll be out there everyday of the holidays!! might see you out in the water sometime if your down this way

    Dave,

Just keep enjoying what you do. Kinda like this fulla -->

I think you've got high octane in the system as well as salt water, so we'll see ya when you're ready.

But meanwhile, like my cousin Billy-Bob, hang eleven bro!

PS. Who is going to provide riding mentoring to Paul and I now??
